FABRIC: COTTON GAUZE

Hypoallergenic, crease-proof, breathable and hard-wearing, this is the perfect fabric for ideal sleep.

Hard-wearing

Cotton gauze is a light and highly hard-wearing fiber. Aldeia is made out of two layers of fabric. The plus? Not need to iron it, cotton gauze is crease-proof.

Breathable

Hypoallergenic, cotton gauze is a highly breathable fiber, which makes it the perfect fabric for a great night of sleep.

Sustainable

For our basics, we made the choice to only use sustainable fibers, all Oeko-Tex® 100 certified. This label garanties that no toxic chemicals are to be found in our products.

MANUFACTURING: 100% MADE IN PORTUGAL

All our products are made in the Porto region, which has a long history in textile-making.
Cotton gauze weaving takes time:

1. Weaving

First, the fabric is woven from organic cotton threads, in our factory in Portugal.

2. Colour bath and wash

The cotton gauze is then put into a colour bath, to be then washed through a unique process, which will make it soft and smooth.

3. Making

The fabric is then cut and sewn by experimented couturiers.
